Working within the Projects Vice Presidency, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating engineers and external consultants. They will lead the execution of various studies and be responsible for carrying out a broad range of activities related to the development of identified projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Engineering Director for identified projects in the capacity of Project Engineer.
Oversee the execution of technical review activities as part of the delivery of identified projects.
Ensure that technical experts’ deliverables are produced in accordance with established quality standards and scheduled timelines.
Ensure alignment between design activities and the commercial and legal considerations of contracts related to project delivery.
Lead the preparation of various technical studies in support of project delivery activities.
Represent CDPQ Infra before third parties (municipalities, transit agencies, institutions, private companies, etc.) impacted by project delivery.
Provide technical support to CDPQ Infra’s various business units on matters related to project engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
10+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects;
Experience participating in procurement processes for major infrastructure projects, preferably under Design-Build
Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM) delivery models;
Experience in the execution of major infrastructure projects;
Significant experience leading multidisciplinary teams;
Experience in transportation infrastructure projects (a strong asset);
PMP and/or PMI project management certification (an asset).
