Context
As a Cost Control Analyst, you will work closely with the DJV Cost Control Lead to manage SYSTRA costs for the ALTO project. You will be involved in project cost management and reporting, budget planning and reforecasting.

 

Missions/Main Duties
Project Management (Hours and Pass-Through Cost):

  • Manage SYSTRA Group GTMS timesheet system, including user support, training, system development, and configuration.
  • Review timesheets weekly for timely completion, data compliance, and correct application of project guidelines.
  • Consolidate DJV timesheets twice a month for invoicing and PowerBI reporting.
     

Project Invoicing:

  • Coordinate monthly invoice preparation across all SYSTRA Group entities, verifying hours, expenses, and supporting documents for contractual compliance.
  • Monitor intercompany invoicing, payments, withholding tax, and related KPIs/PowerBI reports.
  • Manage and revise yearly intercompany contracts using the Interco platform.
  • Support monthly DJV project invoice preparation and assist SYSTRA Canada Finance with contract management in ERP (SPOT), reviews, forecasts, and budget updates.
  • Develop and implement standardized reports and templates to enhance project cost control.


Profile/Skills
Education : Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or engineering.
Years of experience : 3-5 years of professional experience in cost analysis and control for construction projects (experience in rail and public transit projects is preferred).
Technical competencies :

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the transportation sector is an asset.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, both in French and in English*
